Saginaw Golden Ale
The USS Saginaw was the first keel laid on Mare Island in 1857. Pirates, confederates, a shipwreck, a rescue by King Kamehameha...we dedicate this Golden Ale to its (and our) hero, Coxswain William Halford.
Delicate does not mean wimpy. It is a delicate dance to create a beer that has intensity without too much weight. Delicate malt flavor, a hint of citrus and floral notes, and lively effervescence make this the perfect accompaniment to a summer BBQ...or a Thursday.
