Yardbirds — pull the lederhosen out of the closet. We're taking over the Coal Shed Brewery waterfront for an afternoon of Märzen, music, hearty Bavarian food, and a stein-holding contest that will humble at least one of you.

Come for the party, stay for the cornhole bracket, leave with your 2026 Fall Yardbird case.

🍺 Event Highlights:

• Fall Beer Release: First chance to get your 2026 Fall Yardbird case. Pick it up on your way out.
• Costume Contest: Lederhosen, dirndl, or whatever you've cobbled together from a thrift store. There are prizes. There is also glory.
• Live Music: Live tunes on the waterfront, tuned to the exact frequency of a cold Märzen.
• Food Specials: We're going full Bavarian. Bring an appetite you'd describe as "unwise."
• Cornhole Tournament: Grab a partner and play for a spot on the Yardbird Games Trophy, which is permanent, unlike your dignity. Defending champions, you know who you are.
• Stein Holding Contest: 34 ounces, arm straight, gravity undefeated since forever. Men's and women's categories — twice the competition, twice the spectating.

Nothing on this menu is going to be described as "light." That's on purpose.

• Love Park Pretzel: Served with Saginaw Beer Cheese and Spicy IPA Mustard
• Kaesespaetzle (German Mac & Cheese): Tossed in a Mushroom Cream Sauce (Vegetarian)
• Smoked Bratwurst: IPA Mustard, Sauerkraut, MIBC Pickles, Pretzel Bun
• Pork Schnitzel Sandwich: Breaded and fried thin pork loin, Apple Slaw, MIBC Pickles, Pickled Red Onion, Mustard Aioli, Brioche Bun. Served with German Potato Salad
