Bay Area Butterfly Festival 2025

Sunday, June 1st | 10am-5pm: Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of butterflies on the Mare Island waterfront at the 2nd Annual Butterfly Festival!

This is a family-friendly community festival! Children's FREE games and hands-on activities will entertain young ones throughout the day. Artisans and small businesses will sell their art, wares, and many fantastic sustainable goods. Community groups will lead pop-up workshops on a wide range of exciting topics, including how to turn your lawn into a pollinator garden, how to start a vegetable garden, and how to install your own Monarch waystation! Food vendors and food trucks will offer a variety of cuisines, including vegan and gluten-free options. Wine and beer will be available, and a variety of booths will provide an array of tasty non-alcoholic beverages.

Our Coal Shed Brewery will be open per usual, while the festival takes over the waterfront promenade in-front of the brewery.
