Maker Faire is coming to the Mare Island Waterfront, right in-front of our Coal Shed Brewery!

The mothership is landing! Immerse yourself in imagination and innovation this October as Maker Faire Bay Area sets up on Mare Island for the 15th edition of the original celebration of invention, creativity, curiosity, and hands-on learning.

The event takes place across two weekends: October 13-15th and October 20th-22nd. Our Coal Shed Brewery will be open to the general public, as well as Maker Faire attendees, both weekends. However, we'll making a few changes to our regular service during the festival...

• Expanded waterfront beer garden from October 13-22nd
• On Saturday, October 14th - our Whaleboat Room & Beer Garden will be open for regular service, while our main brewery taproom is closed for a private event.
• We'll be running slightly paired-down food menu due to expected high-number of attendees
