2023 Historic Brew Cruise

All aboard! Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience, as we take you on a scenic cruise through our local waters, filled with local history, sunset views, delicious small bites throughout the night, and of course... brews.

This year, we're launching from the Benicia Marina. Meet us there for a pre-boarding social, appetizers, live classical guitar serenade, and brews. Next, we'll jump aboard the 65ft Orca III cruiser, and set course for the Vallejo Marina. Along they way, our crew will serve up a delicious variety of small bites, while Founder Kent Fortner entertains you with colorful stories of the local history and landmarks we encounter. After arriving at the Vallejo Marina, we'll disembark, and walk towards the green near Zio Fraedoe's where our own Chef David will have a delicious dessert spread waiting for us. Finally, will hop back on the boat for a sunset cruise back to Benicia, with coffee and more local history along the way.

The Itinerary:

• 4:30p: Pre-board Social at Benicia Marina – Meet us at the Benicia Marina (266 East B Street) for appetizers, brews, and a classical guitar serenade courtesy of Stan Houston from Benicia's Mozart, Earhart, and Me before we board.
• 5:15p:  Cruise towards Vallejo Marina – Sip brews on-board, and savor small bites while MIBC Founder, Kent regales you with local history.
• 6:15p: Disembark for Dessert – We'll hop off the boat at the Vallejo Marina, and walk to over to the green near Zio Fradeo's where our staff will be waiting with a delicious dessert spread.
• 7:15: Sunset Cruise Back to Benicia – After dessert, we'll head back to the Benicia Marina. Enjoy coffee, stunning sunset views, and more local history.

Tickets are $85 per person, and include your first pint, a variety of delicious small bites throughout the night, and coffee on the way back. They always sell out fast, so get yours while you can!

Note: Tickets are currently only available to our Yardbird Beer Club members. Though, in the unlikely event they don't sell out, we may open tickets to non-Yardbird members.
