Where is the beer brewed?
We brew every batch of our delicious ales and lagers right on Mare Island at our Coal Shed Brewery. We have a spacious taproom with an amazing view, right on the island. If you’ve never been, it’s worth the visit!

It all began on a grape crush pad pad in Napa, California. Ryan and Kent, both formally trained on the wine side of fermentation (but long-time closet brewers), met and struck up a friendship during a wine grape harvest over a decade ago.
